With just days to go until we make our return to Royal Bath & West Showground, it’s time to start packing those bags for the biggest party of the summer!

Maybe it’s your first festival and you’re not sure what to take? Don’t worry, we’re here to help with our handy packing guide, letting you know everything you should (and shouldn’t) be taking with you…

Festival Essentials

Your ticket –  First things first! Make sure you have it ready on your phone, or printed out.

Reusable water bottle – Bring one and stay hydrated with refill points throughout the festival.

Phone charger – Make sure you’re fully charged throughout the weekend so you can stay up to date with the festival group chat and see what’s happening on the NASS app. Bring a fully charged portable charger or you can use our Charge Candy charging service.

Sun cream – It’s looking sunny next week so make sure you stay safe and bring sun cream!

Toiletries – Bring wet wipes to stay fresh throughout the weekend and all your normal toiletries. Please note aerosols are not permitted on site (e.g deodorants, antiperspirants, hairspray, dry shampoo, suntan lotion, skin moisturiser). Roll on deodorant is all good!

Make-up – If you’re taking make up with you to NASS, glass bottles and large mirrors are not permitted. However, small compact mirrors are all good!

Camping Equipment

If you’re joining us for the full weekend, you’ll need to bring the right camping gear so you have a comfortable weekend and have tonnes of energy to party hard!

Tent – Sort out who you’ll be sharing a tent with (or if you’d rather go it alone) and get yourself a good quality tent. Or, why not borrow a tent from friends or family?

Sleeping bag – It will get chilly at night so bring plenty of layers and a thick sleeping bag

Roll matt/ inflatable mattress – fields can be a bit bumpy and uneven so you’ll need something comfy to lie on

Pillow – A tiny blow-up camping pillow will do the job and won’t take up too much precious packing space!

Camping chair – If you’ll be hanging at the campsite with your mates before the music starts, it’s handy to have a small camping chair so you can properly relax in the sun

Clothes

We all know it’s important to look your best at a festival, we all want to be reaching for our freshest garms and dressing to impress.

It’s always a good idea to plan your outfits, so you’re not bringing too little or too many clothes with you to the festival.

Be prepared…it’s looking like it’s going to be hot and sunny for NASS so make sure you bring hats, shorts and tees plus airy layers to keep cool. But make sure you have a raincoat (this is the UK after and layers like hoodies, jumpers, trousers and jackets as it does get cold at night.

Snacks

Make sure you bring a couple of snacks to keep you sustained for a weekend of partying. Cereal bars, crisps, fruit, bread, pastries are all good! Just make sure you don’t bring too much – food waste is the worst!

We’ve got so many out-of-this-world food traders ready and waiting for you at NASS 2022, and you can even pick up supplies from our onsite supermarket across the weekend.

Alcohol

If you are taking alcohol to NASS please be aware of our restrictions. Remember that GLASS IS NOT PERMITTED AT NASS.

Weekend campers aged 18 or over can bring bring either 24 cans of beer/lager and/or cider and/or alcopops per person.

OR 2 bottles of wine (which must be decanted from glass bottles) per person into the campsites.
