So you’ve sorted your ticket to NASS and you’re getting hyped for your first festival. The group chat is popping off and you’re probably wondering what to expect. We’ve put together a handy first timers guide to guarantee you and your mates have the time of your life this summer…
1. Plan ahead
There’s SO MUCH to see and do at NASS, so we recommend planning your weekend in advance. Get familiar with the line-up and BMX & Skate events so you can fit in everything you really want to see. We’ll be uploading set times and the full festival map soon so you can start familiarising yourself with the site
2. Keep your phone charged
Keep your phone charged by renting a portable charger or buying a ticket to our unlimited phone charging drop-off points here from Charge Candy. Collect it at the festival stand when you arrive so you can capture all your favourite acts and avoid that dreaded 10% battery warning.
3. Pack well!
Pack the right stuff! It’s worth buying a good tent, sleeping bag and sleeping matt so you’re well rested and have tonnes of energy to party hard. Don’t forget to bring your warm clothes, waterproofs, food, money, your ticket, sun lotion, medication and toiletries. Take a look at our prohibited items list before packing and remember that once you leave the festival site, there will be no re-entry. We advise you bring a re-usable water bottle to top up at one of the locations throughout our campsite and arena.
4. Bring your payment card
Bring your payment card with you as NASS bars and vendors will be cashless.
5. Plan travel
Plan your travel to and from NASS with our weekend return Big Green Coaches for a £10 deposit and choose from 21 pick-up locations.
6. Watch your stuff
Be careful with your valuables! Bring a bum bag for any essentials you need to bring like your phone, keys and wallet. Remember to never leave expensive items unattended in your tent.
7. Get help carrying your bag with Jolly Green Sherpas
Save yourself the hassle of lugging your bag across the campsite and call upon our Jolly Green Sherpas to transport your luggage for you. You don’t even need to pre-book – just look out for them in the car parks when you arrive.
8. Enjoy yourself
Go with an open mind and enjoy it! Make new friends, watch artists you’ve never seen before and try something new like our DJ & MC Workshop.
